As a Informatics and Analytics Program Manager, you will coordinate data collection, abstraction, submission, analysis and reporting for multiple stakeholders across the regional hospitals/institutes. You will apply information and use informatic methodologies to improve processes, reduce expenses, increase revenue opportunities and develop strategic plans.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Creates dialog, assessments and works where enterprise activity such as clinical, technical and business data is converted to understandable and actionable metrics across regional hospitals. Partners and works in collaboration with physicians, senior executives, medical and clinical staff, finance and other regional/institute teams to initiate information system applications that provide enhanced reporting capabilities.
- Coordinates with corporate EBI team to implement best practices.
- Contact person for system/data issues and/or downtime, responsible for follow through and liaison between end-use and decision support/business intelligence.
- Provides information derived from operational analytics to help improve processes, reduce expenses, increase revenue opportunities and develop strategic plans while maintaining alignment with organizational initiatives and goals.
- Manages projects, processes and relationships for operational, administrative and nursing departments.
- Trains and mentors other hospital/institue analysts and business managers.
- Coordinates and performs education, end-user support, training and facilitation for automated technology databases, tools, cubes, ERLs, data marts, dashboards, etc. ensuring proper use of system and/or tools.
- Obtains feedback from end users for additional enhancements or adjustments.
- Participates in monthly business reviews, focus groups, special projects.
- Acts as a subject matter expert supporting decision support/business intelligence service departments and regional operations on various projects and informatics enhancements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred.
Certifications:
- Lean Six Sigma certification, preferred.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires data collection and analysis, metric development, critical thinking and processing mapping skills.
- Ability to leverage relationships, resources and goals.
- Decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in stressful environments and take appropriate action.
- Requires strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
Work Experience:
- Eight years of experience (or Masters degree and six years) in healthcare, finance or project management with significant experience in budgeting, financial analysis, reporting with multi-disciplinary organizational and operational structure and large hospital/physician provider organization or healthcare consulting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in defining, monitoring and achieving targeted operational, clinical, quality and financial metrics.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and data base management/maneuverability/fluidity.

Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and produce materials on a PC.
- Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech. Extensive sitting and frequent walking.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of up to 25 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
