Based in Memphis, TN, the Program Manager for Last Mile Transportation will own the development, optimization, and implementation of new operational programs within NIKE's Last Mile network which is accountable for delivering product to NIKE's Digital consumers and customers. You'll identify process improvement opportunities and develop programs and processes that will be managed by the Last Mile Operations to improve the delivery experience for the Nike consumer. This role plays a major role in the Digital Supply Chain transformation and making Last Mile transportation a competitive advantage for the company. The ability to drive continuous improvement and new innovations while reducing expense, improving quality, and increasing speed is critical to this role. In this role you will provide leadership support to the Network Distribution Centers, assuring that all facility and organizational digital initiatives, targets and objectives are met or exceeded. You will interact with Omnichannel Transportation for strategy on consumer focusing initiatives and work closely with LSP Management to conduct business reviews to review performance based on service level agreements. This team will also partner closely with digital Market Place Operations (MPO) team to build flex capacity solutions to meet and exceed consumer and customers' demand.

You will identify and implement a new capability within the Last Mile Transportation organization and partner with the Last Mile Operations around improving the delivery experience for Nike consumers. You will work collectively to meet the committed service levels to all key partners, both internal and external (customers) while reducing transportation costs. You'll seek out, introduce and apply industry 'standard methodologies' with a focus on efficiency and sustainability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as Transportation liaison between Market Place Operations, National and Regional Carriers and NIKE's Distribution Centers to improve delivery quality.

- Develop and implement a delivery quality program to transform Last Mile Transportation into a competitive advantage.

- Build, review, and own the Hub Bypass modeling to determine how Nike's transportation network will be optimized.

- Run ad-hoc analysis to answer key business questions or identify process improvement opportunities.

- Lead the identification, creation, and implementation of process improvement opportunities for Last Mile Operations in conjunction with Last Mile Capabilities and Development.

- Initiate, develop, and implement continuous improvement activities to improve operating metrics and performance, specifically related to cost, service, and compliance for digital carton movement

- Provide domestic operations guidance and expertise to NASC partners to oversee new initiatives

- Support the operationalization of new Transportation initiatives (post-pilot)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Supply chain Management, Transportation, Operations Management)

- Proven track record in direct support of transportation/Transportation operations in a Retail/E-Commerce supply chain environment and use of project management tools and methodologies is required.

- 5+ years' experience within an operations/distribution/Transportation environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing team members; running workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees (+2 years in lieu of a degree)

- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience making group presentations.

- Experience leading transformative, cross functional initiatives

- Experience working across all levels, from front line associates to senior level leaders.

- Experience working in a fast-paced and team-based environment

- Experience driving performance through metrics and use data for process improvement

- Experience being accountable for cost, quality, and service performance and for making decisions when trade-offs are required.
