Description -
As a program manager for the Legal Strategy and Operations team, you will be responsible for leading and executing cross-functional initiatives that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment of the Legal department. You will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the Legal function supporting strategic planning, operational excellence, change management, and organizational development.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver complex, high-impact projects and programs that support the Legal department's strategic objectives and operational priorities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and communication strategies for various stakeholders and sponsors.
- Facilitate alignment and collaboration across the Legal function and with other business units, functions, and external partners.
- Identify and implement best practices, processes, tools, and metrics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Legal function.
- Analyze and report on the performance, impact, and outcomes of the projects and programs.
- Provide thought leadership, insights, and recommendations to support the Legal department's continuous improvement and innovation.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High degree of analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
