Program Manager - Lifecycle Acquisition (Innovation) (Senior)

Overall Assignment Description:
(U) Serve as an advisor to a Government-led team that:

• Defines and implements strategies to identify commercially available solutions to enable the 
  NGA efforts to provide an integrated customer service experience and deliver world-class 
  geospatial knowledge, content and services to customers worldwide. 
• Uses innovative approaches and non-traditional methodologies to solve customer problems 
  and develop new capabilities in support of the NGA’s GEOINT online services.
• Identifies and exploits the innovations of others, including industry, partners and customer 
  communities.

(U) Duties may include: 

• Advising collaborative teams of multi-functional resources in the delivery of specific 
  innovation projects.
• Analyze and evaluate new emergent technologies for opportunity and application to NGA 
  Initiatives.
• Facilitate rapid mainstreaming of new capabilities in fixed and expeditionary environments.
• Support the management of multiple concurrent innovation projects from problem definition 
  through new capability adoption.
• Support the implementation of new strategies to expedite prototype testing and feedback 
  quickly and spur agile acquisitions.
• Use knowledge of industry trends to influence NGA planning.

Skills and Experience:
(U) Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business or a related field such as Economics, 
  Finance, or Accounting.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), DAWIA Level III certification in Program 
  Management or equivalent specialized experience with Project Management tools and 
  techniques.

(U) Desired

• MBA in Business or International Business.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NGA Mission Partner and customer roles and missions.
• Demonstrated knowledge cloud infrastructure support experience.
• Demonstrated specialized experience with enterprise architecture and/or solutions architecture
• ITIL Certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NGA’s Innovation Mainstreaming Models 
• Demonstrated specialized experience in analysis, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of the geospatial intelligence mission and its contributions to the 
  IC, DOD or non-DOD missions.
