Program Manager - Little Rock, AR
Job Description
Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators. Manages day to day operations of the projects. Prepares and presents updates for senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Defines project scope, deliverables, timeline, and success criteria for enterprise projects
- Oversees execution of project deliverables alongside project team members
- Creates and updates a dynamic project schedule throughout the project lifecycle
- Identifies and escalates issues effectively; ensures contingency plans are in place
- Identifies interdependencies with internal departments, consultants, and vendors
- Manages appropriate resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle
- Leads progress meetings with project team members
- Routinely and succinctly provides project status to senior management and project sponsors
- Optimizes project planning tools and technology to plan, develop, and monitor phases of plan
- Ensures effective communication and change management principles are followed
- Develops and maintains relationships with departmental and senior management
- Ensures decisions, outcomes, and policies are appropriately documented and organized
- Develops comprehensive project budget; monitors, tracks, and reports on related expenditures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Six years project management or related work experience

- Strong time management skills
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to appropriately prioritize goals and tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage staff when those individuals report to someone else organizationally
- Must be a quick learner and highly adaptable to liaison with subject matter experts
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite with proficiency in Excel
- Proficient in project management software solutions
- Ability to keep executive management and the project team informed of the progress of the initiative
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally stand and walk; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- May be required to lift or move up to 10 pounds occasionally
