Job Description

This role is accountable for developing, enhancing, GTM launch and sustained execution for Key strategic product and program initiatives for Cox Communities including IoT, multifamily and MDU/SFU new build industries. Accountable for all aspects of Cox Communities national program management and support as they relate to market launch, field implementation, execution, and support. This role will assist with the identification, analysis, strategic planning, and execution of programs related to Cox Communities which are vital in supporting future revenue growth and sales effectiveness objectives. Focuses on the People, Process, Policies and Technology aspects of program performance and life cycle management. Works directly with teams responsible for program execution to identify best practices and program inefficiencies and drive sales. Consults with leadership to optimize implementations and sales.
This role may be assigned to support Base Strategies, New Build Strategy, Quick Connect Strategy, Bulk Strategy, Digital Integrations, and/or Strategic Opportunities. Achieves performance goals and ensures that key initiatives are implemented satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
Cox Communities is the division of Cox that delivers solutions, value, and trust for MDU & SFU owners, managers, developers, and residents within their communities. The Cox Communities team acts as their client's trusted advisor by supporting them in reaching their business goals of optimizing rents, occupancy, and future proofing their properties.
What You'll Do
  • Participates in the development of product and/or program strategy and the alignment of product and/or program roadmaps to strategy. Shares customer input and feedback from lead users with team to address product weaknesses and market opportunities. Develops operational requirements for new products or programs launched to field sales. May assist with the development of 3rd party vendor requirements for new products or programs.
  • Evaluate performance by market and identifies best practices. Conduct root causes analysis to identify methods to optimize sales. Partners with region leadership to improve sales.
  • Provides oversight and direction to large and highly matrixed teams including field execution team, field support and program Senior Manager to provide program management, performance monitoring and program improvements for assigned area(s)
  • Ensures the successful system-by-system implementation of new services, service enhancements, process improvement initiatives and/or operations risk mitigation strategies. Consults the leadership to ensure successful implementation.
  • Serve as a company point person for resolving critical cross-functional issues through matrix-managed resources.
  • Serves as Program Manager for assigned area(s) through the development and oversight of action plans, launch and/or implementation timelines and activities.
  • Develops, implements and maintains initial and ongoing operating practices, performance metrics and processes required to assist with program life-cycle management. Develop and launch program playbooks, training and best practices.
  • Analyze, maintain and revise existing processes, policies, technology and training to drive sales and operational efficiencies.
  • Facilitate ad hoc analyses and product/program post-mortems to gauge best practices. Conduct root cause analyses to identify program errors and issue resolution. Facilitate employee and customer focus groups to evaluate product or program experience
  • Reinforce escalation and service level agreement procedures with internal and external issue resolution teams.

Who You Are
Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. (Marketing, Sales, Product or Program management) The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field
  • Strong ability to gain rapport and communicate peer to peer with Executive Level customer
  • Ability to grow within a role and a demonstrated history of increased responsibility over time, including experience in a leadership role.
  • Fully competent and productive professional contributor with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and time constraints.
  • Excellent presentation skills including verbal, written and Power Point communications skills
  • Advanced Analytical skills building and utilizing Excel experience
  • Creative, forward thinker adept at developing innovative solutions to complex problems.

Preferred
  • Experience in business to business and consumer sales and marketing.
  • Experience in the Apartment and/or Real Estate Industries including construction development.
  • Experience in managed services including, wireless internet and IOT
