What you will do -
As Program Manager, Operations in Mahwah, NJ you will lead a multi-year capital investment strategy of highly automated equipment to support the market leading growth of Knee and Hip products at Stryker. In this role you will collaborate with Mahwah leadership teams to define, manage and own program scope and create detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
Additional responsibilities:
- Focus on Safety and Quality in all aspects of the Program execution, always prioritizing our employees, contractors and customers safety and well-being above all else.
- Develop and manage the detailed program Gantt chart. Analyze critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones.
- Create program budget with cross-functional managers and directors. Optimize, monitor, and maintain costs within budget.
- Partner with project teams to create program Quality Plans using a quality planning tools and techniques. You will then monitor and maintain the quality plans.
- Develop a risk management plan for the program. Identify, analyze, and understand project risks, develop and monitor a risk response plan.
- Develop a Procurement Management Plan and be a strategic partner in the selection of procurement partners.
- Estimate, acquire and assign cross functional program resources. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews. Coach and mentor team members. Recruit and onboard staff; participate on hiring teams for cross-functional groups.
- Develop a Stakeholder engagement plan for the program, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of Stakeholder expectations and requirements.
- Develop and Execute communications management plan for program team, key stakeholders, and business leaders.
- Provide updates through the Joint Replacement PMO to stakeholders outside of the site, and in other partnering functions.
- As Program Leader, will lead every update with the "why" of what we are doing, ensuring all team members can relate "what" they are doing to the overall purpose.
What you need -
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree required
- MS and/or MBA preferred
- 8+ years of work experience required
- 3+ years of Project Management Experience required - successfully led major, multi-year projects/programs
- Medical Device Experience or experience in a regulated industry required
- PMP or PgMP or equivalent preferred
