Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as a Program Officer for various ACAT I, II and/or III programs within the Project/Product Managers (PM) Office nd is delegated the authority and responsibility to ensure the integration of the various functional areas within the PMO.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- electee must meet the DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category of Program Management and Advanced Career Level IV Certification must be met within 4 years.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- The duties of this position require submission of, on an annual basis, SF 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
- This position is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) position. Selectee must execute a written tenure agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of experience which includes: 1) Utilizing knowledge of an agency's acquisition process in order to provide oversight for complex acquisition programs; 2) Serving as a liaison to external organizational stakeholders with responsibility for providing guidance on decisions that impact acquisition projects; and 3) Preparing briefings and reports to senior leaders in order to identify issues and/or progress in issue resolution.
This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level (NH-03/GS-13) position in the federal service.
This position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-14, step 10 base salary. Therefore, the salary for the position will be set within a range from $127,073 to $165,197 including locality.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

- This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 encompasses grades 14 and 15 on the General Schedule.
