What you'll do:

"Providing strategic leadership and execution support to developing and implement Best Cost Country sourcing strategies. Establish strategic sourcing plans and executing tailored approaches in line with BCC strategies. Developing and execute category management strategies and procurement projects to optimize spend and improve procurement practices and maximizing value for the organization.
The purpose of this position is to manage key resourcing and VAVE projects initiated by SCM and/or Engineering.This position will lead the process to establish Supplier Development processes and tools to evaluate, select, manage and develop Eaton global supply base, GSC COE & Engineering processes. This position will play a lead role in scoping, definition, coordination and execution of cost reduction efforts via resourcing, VAVE, standardization and supporting second source and supplier consolidation initiatives across multiple commodities in specified business units. "

"1. Lead, Develop, plan, monitor and execute direct material cost out projects for Engineering and SCM Collaboration Projects.
2. Leading implementation of best in class Supplier Development tools and processes for the organization, globally; and in coordination with Eaton Strategic Sourcing's supplier development initiatives; including: Supplier Assessment, Should Cost/Total Cost Models, ESSP, Tail Spend Mgmt., Supplier Scorecards and Supplier Risk Assessment.
3. Manage the program/project, provide technical guidance and mentoring as necessary
4. Work with Leading suppliers and Business teams to increase value, quality, delivery performance and technology solutions to the business; shared metrics include improvements to inventory turns, Eaton product lead-times, YOY Productivity support, and supplier delivery and quality performance.
5. Single point contact for all the data flow between Eaton Business teams,GSCCoE & Engineering side.
6. Able to effectively integrate projects into programs and manage execution to ensure goals are successfully achieved
7. Support teams with project management tools and techniques. Give proactive alerts to program manager and project team for Critical Paths and risk mitigation
8. Establish robust capability monitoring mechanism for all the critical process and product parameters.
9. Participate in risks assessment and risk management along with the project teams comprising global SCM leaders and commodity managers
10. Lead governance meetings with internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance to SLAs & enhance customer satisfaction
11. Ensure projects meet their financial & operational goals (KPIs) viz cost out, cost avoidance, productivity gain and on time & accurate deliveries.
12. Help keep commodity strategies aligned with latest internal and external environmental, market and economic factors. Build and maintain organizational consensus and alignment to the commodity strategies.
13. Manage the supplier quality interface (APQP) to ensure that PPAP requirements are understood and met, including assisting in issue resolution for components identified as "high risk." Interface with suppliers, product engineering, and the Eaton plant to drive on-time project completion. Work projects through ramp up and successful launch.
14. Collaborate with Engineering on all the opportunities
15. Develop strong positive ethical relationships with suppliers & adhere to Eaton's Code of Conduct.
16. Coordinate the exchange of technical information regarding product and product processing with adequate safeguards for confidentiality in compliance with Eaton Data Management policies"

Qualifications:

"Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution
Five years of experience in manufacturing or Supply chain operations"
Minimum10-12 years' experience

Skills:

Expert in Supply Chain Knowledge
"Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Micro Soft Project)
Ability to communicate clearly & effectively in person, via e-mail and over phone
Proficient in the development and tracking of internal metrics
Strong project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from associates to the leadership team.
Quick response to deadlines
Reporting and Analytics - Should have good experience on data analysis, report preparation and presentation to project team
Recommended - PMP.
