Position Description

The Senior Program Manager of Product Operations plays a lead role in executing Product and Technology (P&T) program initiatives while adopting agile methods, processes, and automation to streamline product and digital infrastructure growth. The Senior Program Manager will charter, develop and facilitate cross-functional core teams to deliver on scope, time, and budget while effectively communicating status and results to program stakeholders and sponsors across organizational levels, including the Executive Leadership Team. With a proven program/project management background in telecommunications and digital infrastructure, the Senior Program Manager will work collaboratively, helping improve productivity and give the team a sense of purpose in the program. Effectively develop and share organization-wide dashboards, tools, standards, and key performance indicator (KPI) metrics.

Roles and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as product owner for the product catalog master and master data management (MDM) and the product taxonomy
  • Lead core team rosters of cross-functional disciplines to produce results on time
  • Track program/project progress
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities
  • Apply change, risk, and resource management
  • Assume responsibility for the program’s core and extended team and operating mechanisms
  • Assess program performance and aim to maximize KPI results against targets
  • Lead program and project management events, meetings, and operations reviews
  • Manage dependencies between projects and facilitate collaboration to resolve issues
  • Engage with Agile teams’ Sprints, demos, and retrospectives
  • Automate roadmaps, schedules, features, and activities within designated tools (ex. Aha!)
  • Identify and report blockers, risks, issues, and mitigations
  • Maintain schedules, prepare and present scorecards, and deliver executive reviews
  • Develop and present business analysis to justify resources to improve velocity
  • Provide program/project budget oversight and reporting
  • Facilitate omnichannel, multi-disciplinary team communications including remote teamwork

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years of professional business operations and program/project management in product and technology programs
  • Project Management (ex. PMP) and/or Agile Product Owner, Scrum Master certification a plus 
  • Experienced with product catalog master data management (MDM) and product quote to cash (QTC) readiness and reporting
  • Experienced in M&A integration and product catalog harmonization and unification
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies in product and systems development
  • Experienced with product roadmapping, collaboration, reporting, and dashboarding tools (ex. Aha!)
  • Experienced in remote workforce team leadership and productivity 
  • Demonstrated ability to extract insights with the ability to tie changes to risks, issues, and impact
  • Familiar with telecommunications, digital infrastructure, network architecture, and managed services 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interface cross-functionally, as well as with various levels of management
  • Excellent presentation skills with an ability to visualize and convey concepts 
  • Ability to manage and own programs/projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Results-driven with an ability to make timely, creative, and sound decisions under pressure
  • Detail-oriented, fast learner, with the ability to adapt to an evolving environment
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing requests in a professional manner

Base pay range: $92,000 - $145,000 commensurate with experience.
