The Opportunity

DAT is seeking a Program Manager to join our Information Technology team in Beaverton, Oregon or Denver, Colorado.

This position requires a strong understanding of project management fundamentals, with the ability to help manage and link back projects to the larger technology portfolio. This individual will help guide technical teams, lead through influence, and will be counted on to bring teams, managers, and business leaders together to meet goals and objectives.

The Program Manager is responsible for the delivery, reporting, and communication of the technology portfolio. This individual will work closely with the project teams, internal business leaders, and management to deliver projects that enable our development team and business leaders to meet their objectives.

As a member of the technology team, this position will have responsibility for driving consistency and efficiency within the Technology team, ensuring deliverables are on time and aligned with our standards.  Additionally, this role will collaborate with key internal stakeholders to continuously improve the technology delivery process and ensure we are meeting the needs of the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive a variety of cross-functional technology projects to successful completion.
  • Work with business analysts, subject-matter experts, and engineering managers to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Create project plans and product roadmaps, specifically in the areas of task breakdown, estimating, dependency tracking and scheduling.
  • Communicate status and risks of projects and team progress to our leadership and track the current status of the Technology portfolio.
  • Exhibit leadership by participating in architecture and technology decisions with business stakeholders, leaders, and the technology management team.
  • Aid in developing architecture and technology roadmaps into a deliverable portfolio.
  • Continually seek to identify and remove impediments to progress and success.
  • Assist in the growth of team members through leadership, mentorship, and recommendations back to technology leadership.
  • Champion initiatives to consistently improve the delivery of projects at DAT.

The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing and delivering projects in a matrixed environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Adept at effectively working with professionals from a wide range of disciplines and skill levels
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality results
  • Committed to ongoing professional development and learning
  • Invested in the professional growth and development of individuals and teams
  • Understanding of and experience adapting Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience building business requirements into clear a clear plan, then translating them into technical stories
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet and G-Suite

Bonus Skills

  • PMP, CSM, CPO or Prosci certifications 
  • Experience with Agile transformation

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $$125,000.00 + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
