Job Description

Waltz Health is looking for an experienced Program Manager who will support the development and execution of projects and programs that meet business priorities to improve the delivery and affordability of healthcare and that drive growth. The project team designs and executes project plans, coordinates, and organizes resources, manages communication across multiple departments, and monitors projects through completion.

The Waltz Health Program Manager will direct and manage technology projects from beginning to end and see that it is completed successfully within the given deadline and budget. You will define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and business stakeholders. In addition, you will develop full-scale project plans, audit quality follow-ups, and associated communications documents. This person is generally responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of multiple simultaneous projects while ensuring consistency with Waltz Health's strategy, commitments, and goals.

You will be responsible for the following:
  • Developing project plans and goals and identifying resources needed.
  • Developing schedules and methods for measuring results while maintaining optimum working relationships with all departmental units.
  • Programing and project assignments while working independently or collaboratively as appropriate to accomplish the assigned work.
  • Organizing all phases of the projects to achieve schedule, cost, and performance objectives while maintaining project scope
  • The preparation and dissemination of project communications. Communicates with top-level management, project sponsors, and functional area managers/directors regarding the status of specific projects.
In the first 90 days, you will:
  • Come up to speed on Waltz Health products, services, and operating model.
  • Begin to manage by metrics.
  • Have started the corporate portfolio management process.
  • Begin to develop and maintain the PMO KPIs dashboard.
You will be successful because you have these skills and traits:
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Technology Organization, Finance, and other business stakeholders to provide the right-sized project management services and support.
  • Ensure delivered solutions are realized in the time frame committed; work with project sponsors to size and manage scope and risk.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to support multiple clients required.
  • Are enthusiastic, positive, and hardworking.
  • Are flexible with job roles and responsibilities – i.e., be willing to jump into new projects and have a scrappy start-up mentality.
  • Highly responsive to the internal customer.
  • Are a clear communicator comfortable working with all levels of the organization.
  • Thrive working independently and autonomously, and can adapt to changing needs of a growing company.
  • Can think effectively, critically, and creatively.
  • Live in the US and willing to travel.
You have these qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in project management-related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools required.
  • Experience working in a lead role on more than one project simultaneously.
