Program Manager (Trade Compliance)

The Role

Responsible for facilitating Kyndryl business by developing, implementing, and overseeing the maintenance of internal export/import controls to ensure compliance with U.S. government export/import regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. Customs and Border Protection Regulations, Economic Embargo Regulations, and Anti-boycott. Working with global team of trade compliance coordinators on local country trade regulations and requirements. Administration of proactive compliance initiatives to foster companywide awareness and prevention. Support and facilitate global logistics problems and issues and develop and provide training & education to functional areas and business teams. Administer trade compliance tools like SharePoint, Microsoft Forms and Lexis Nexis DPL tool.

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $93,360 to $177,360 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. 

There is a different appliable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $102,720 to $213,000

Colorado: $93,360 to $177,360

New York City: $112,080 to $213,000

Washington DC: $102,720 to $195,120

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, vision and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years in a trade compliance position.

• Expertise with EAR regulations along with significant experience with ITAR, OFAC, and US Customs regulations. 

• Experience with encryption and encryption controls.

• Ability to provide support to global network of Trade personnel

• Experience with being an administrator for Lexis Nexis DPL tool

• SharePoint expert on creating and developing trade compliance resources

• Previous experience with development of training materials

• Ability to conduct and manage audits and assessments and disclosures. 

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in a large corporation. 

• Prior work experience working for an IT services company. 

• Ability to manage assignments with limited or no direct supervision.

• Specialized knowledge of multiple areas within U.S. Government regulations and business practices.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong presentation skills especially in training and education.

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to travel as necessary to support the functions of the job.
