Job Description

Summary:

As a Program Manager for the Curriculum & Training team, you will be responsible for managing integrated deliverables and overseeing operational and administrative aspects of product deliverables. This role requires a blend of project management and product management skills, as you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to anticipate workload, prioritize effectively, and drive efficiencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Facilitate project-related team meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and reviews, ensuring effective communication of action steps.
  2. Track project progress, maintain up-to-date reports and project milestones, and deliver all project-related materials to stakeholders.
  3. Gain a deep understanding of project requirements, even in ambiguous situations, and effectively communicate them to the team.
  4. Identify and address any impediments that hinder the team's ability to meet project objectives.
  5. Prepare and present status updates during and after implementation, including dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and areas for improvement.
  6. Establish strong relationships with internal and external teams, managing multiple work streams with competing priorities.
  7. Set expectations with internal and external teams and prioritize all curriculum and training efforts executed by the team.
  8. Manage invoicing, contracts, and general correspondence with external vendors.
  9. Provide information about collaborations, partnerships, resources, policies, and procedures to internal and external contacts and associates.
  10. Continuously optimize processes and workflows, establishing and maintaining scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
  11. Participates in proactive efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  12. Works effectively and communicates clearly with other employees.
  13. Handles changing deadlines and priorities.
  14. Reviews employees’ and own work for accuracy, completeness and proper authority.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities / Level of Organizational Restraint

Very limited supervision and inspection of work. Role is expected to function independently with consultative direction from supervisor. Role is often involved in identification and resolution of problems and errors of others with input from immediate supervisor. Often the most seasoned or specialized role, other than the supervisor within a function or discipline. 

Education and/or Experience

  • 5+ years of experience; A college degree in a non-technical discipline or in-depth industry and job specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience as a project manager.

Physical Demands

This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sitting, lifting (≤25 pounds), finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.

Work Environment 

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

The office work environment can be boisterous. Attire is business casual.

Travel

Hardly Ever (5%). May be required to travel overnight – by car or air – to support various events sometimes working in excess of eight (8) hours/day.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*We are currently working a hybrid schedule. We are in the office Mon - Wed and work remote Thu/Fri.. All employees must be located in commutable distance to our Orange County, CA, Dallas, TX or Boise,ID office; applicants outside of these locations will not be considered. The hybrid schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the company.
