Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) managing large, complex, and high visibility design and construction projects from inception to completion; 2.) directing program and project milestones with internal and external customers to ensure project completion within established parameters; 3.) Communicating with stakeholders within, across, and external to the organization in order to influence or exchange information, manage expectations, and resolve complex issues as a result of program execution, deadlines, and changing priorities; 4.) leading and managing diverse staff of professional, technical, and administrative personnel in the execution of project and program assignments; and 5.) overseeing the full scope of a large complex program to include personnel, schedule, budget, contracts, multiple stakeholders, resources, etc.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
