Summary
About the Position: Serve as the Program Executive overseeing the execution of the Department of Veterans Affairs International and Interagency Support Projects. These projects are large, complex, and comprehensive in scope, necessitating an Integrated Program Management Office (IPO) to successfully plan and execute.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) managing large, complex, and high visibility design and construction projects from inception to completion; 2.) directing program and project milestones with internal and external customers to ensure project completion within established parameters; 3.) Communicating with stakeholders within, across, and external to the organization in order to influence or exchange information, manage expectations, and resolve complex issues as a result of program execution, deadlines, and changing priorities; 4.) leading and managing diverse staff of professional, technical, and administrative personnel in the execution of project and program assignments; and 5.) overseeing the full scope of a large complex program to include personnel, schedule, budget, contracts, multiple stakeholders, resources, etc.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
