Job Description
Title : Program Operations Coordinator
Duration : 7 months
Hybrid : Portland, OR
Work Schedule : 40 hours per week; In-person days: Tuesdays and Thursdays; opportunity for extension (Local candidates only)
Payrate : $28/Hr.

Position Summary/Purpose:
The Program Coordinator, part of the Flexible Load Program Implementation Team, provides direct support for day-to-day operations and special projects. Collaborating closely with product and program managers, this role ensures successful program implementation and supports continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Consulting and Planning : Coordinate strategic alignment, cost effectiveness, and mitigation of operational impacts for business initiatives; develop project objectives and scope.
- Team Coordination : Schedule meetings, develop agendas, distribute materials, capture minutes, track assignments, and request updates for projects and steering committees.
- Project Controls : Maintain project plans, track budgets, monitor expenditures, and alert Program Managers to significant variances.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings, document actions and decisions, and assist with communication materials.
- Process Improvement : Facilitate business process improvement activities, identify improvement opportunities, and research user requirements for business systems.
- Project Reporting and Documentation : Prepare progress reports, proposals, and presentations; establish and maintain document repository; file project artifacts and "lessons learned".
- Internal Collaboration : Partner with product specialists and program managers to enhance organizational competencies in project management.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Associates, Bachelor's, or equivalent years of direct experience.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with utility or energy efficiency industry preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Customer service experience is desirable.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams is a plus.
- Working knowledge of project and/or program management tools is beneficial.
Education: Associates, Bachelor's, or equivalent years of direct experience.
