Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Program Schedule Manager to be based in Dallas, TX. The position is open to remote work.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Project Controls, the Program Schedule Manager works to manage the planning and scheduling on one of AECOM's major infrastructure Program/projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the program team in establishing and maintaining a program Master Schedule capturing all elements of program activities and active projects, including cost loading activities with the approved control budget.
- Maintain the Work Breakdown Structure and Baseline Schedules that meet the needs of the program/project and are used by the project team.
- Coordinate and update the Master Schedule with actual progress and forecast remaining durations, project milestones, and completion dates.
- Conduct and co-ordinate reviews of Consultants, Contractors and Vendor schedules to ensure plans are realistic and achievable.
- Incorporate inputs into Master Schedule.
- Manage schedule risk analysis to forecast contingencies.
- Manage and review schedule analysis narratives and reports including recommendations for corrective actions that are used by project teams to manage the work.
- Apply practical field experience with planning and scheduling knowledge to identify challenges to the project schedule and suggest mitigation plans and prepare recovery schedules.
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with departmental management and project team leads, and external stakeholders.
- Develop, implement, and utilize standard and project-specific planning and scheduling procedures in accordance with the enterprise and project requirements and procedures.
- Review and recommend contractor(s) and consultant(s) schedules and provide detailed analysis and comments on these schedules.
- Carry out "what-if" schedule analysis for different options or to assess impacts of certain events.
- Present schedule updates to Senior Management
- Develop detailed construction schedules from preliminary and/or conceptual plans, develop and document basis of schedule development.
- Identify and document associated schedule risks.
- Provide recognizable and understandable work activities and sequences.
- Meet required deadlines and deliverable dates.
- Other duties as reasonably required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS + 12 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
- 20 years of progressive experience with increasing responsibility.
- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications including Primavera P6, TILOS, Acumen Fuse, Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.
- Familiarity with rail and roadway transportation projects and disciplines
- Extensive Scheduling and Project Controls experience.
- Principles and practices of Construction Scheduling and Scheduling Software (P6).
- Extensive program and project schedule development and management experience. Including setting up master integrated schedules, integrating multiple complex project schedules.
- Knowledge of structures construction means, methods, staging, procurements, and disciplines. This includes rail and rail systems construction, rail and roadway tunnel construction, rail and roadway bridge construction, retaining wall systems and other systems and structures associated with the operation of a railway.
