RER Solutions, Inc. is accepting resumes for a Program Support Analyst to become a part of our superior workforce in Washington, DC. The Program Support Analyst will provide onsite and remote federal program leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide financial and business operations support to improve operational processes within the Office of Budget and Financial Management (OBFM).
- Analyze financial management processes, agency business operations, and programmatic issues and provide advice and recommendations to the Government.
- Provide a broad range of financial, program, and administrative support to OBFM by performing various tasks to facilitate financial management functions.
- Answer telephone calls and route them to the appropriate staff member as necessary.
- Receive visitors when required and direct them to the appropriate location or staff member.
- Create essential, non-technical documents using appropriate word processing software.
- Edit, proofread, correct format, grammar, and spelling errors.
- Fax and photocopying documents for OBFM or other required staff.
- Assist with all facets of the Government travel program.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of the Centrally Billed Account (CBA) and coordinate responses to the government travel contractor on CBA use.
- Assist in composing, maintaining, and clarifying the travel policies and procedures of the agency.
- Assist and provide supplemental training to staff, travelers, and approvers on using the e-travel system, as required.
- Assist OBFM staff in arranging appointments, conferences, and meetings with internal FHFA employees and private sector members.
- Assist with monitoring the agency's budget execution activities throughout the fiscal year.
- Review business processes, identify opportunities, and present recommendations for process improvement or reengineering.
- Support the agency's budget processes to track budget execution to ensure the divisions and offices do not exceed their budgets.
- Assist with creating and distributing financial reporting.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to obtain the required client issued Public Trust
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting senior-level government officials
- Experience working in federal budgeting
- Comfortable working across multiple workstreams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of fundamental business writing
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
