Program Support Lead (FAA)

Leading a team of 8, this position supports our client, the (FAA) Federal Aviation Administration's national supply support team in managing their inventory supply in key multiple locations throughout the country.  Previous experience as a team manager, and strong experience working with inventory systems within a logistics capacity, utilizing LMS, are key requirements in this position.  This is a full-time remote opportunity, with a potential career growth track within our organization to serve as a corporate Engagement Manager in a corporate leadership capacity.  Strong preference will be given to candidates with a military background and/or FAA inventory knowledge.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee Field Spares Inventory program efforts and team members, delegating and assigning work as needed.

· Review and provide feedback on Program artifacts for FSI Program other AJW-L400 programs.

· Provide subject matter expertise on supply chain management and optimization for FAA

· Engage with FAA stakeholders to resolve issues, address prioritization of program initiatives, and align business processes with needs.

· Review program data for accuracy, and identify discrepancies for resolution by team members or field personnel.

· Promote efficiency, effectiveness, and high-quality performance objectives of the organization in support of Changeis’ contract deliverables

· Ensures that program goals, objectives, policies, programs, activities, and initiatives are executed in coordination with the direction of Changeis leadership and supports successful delivery of services to customers and stakeholders

· Develop program-specific documentation and process guides for AJW-L400 programs, including SOPs, training guides, desk guides, process and procedure guides, Orders, memos, and KSN verbiage.

· Plan, execute, compile, monitor and report the health of projects within their respective program based on level or responsibility

· Support the implementation of new strategic initiatives, representing NSST Programs in working groups and ad hoc meetings.

· Ability to successfully communicate an intimate understanding of the FAA supply chain process, including warehousing and logistics policies and procedures. Demonstrate expert level knowledge of FSI Program database, AMS, and ability to train others on use of the system including troubleshooting and data integrity resolution.

· Ability to engage with key stakeholders to identify and address any needs, developing deliverables to address needs, and being responsive to ongoing changes.

· Understanding basic data analysis techniques, and the ability to analyze data needs and execute value-added analysis through Tableau visualizations.

· Ability to take disparate information and develop into streamlined and communicative executive briefing to drive decision-making, and program buy-in.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS requirement
  • US citizenship or possess US work authorization 
  • 8+ years Inventory Management experience
  • Demonstrated previous leadership experience managing teams of 7+
  • Previous military or Federal Aviation Administration work experience preferred
  • Proven ability to multi-task, possess strong communications to engage with team members, and interface successfully with clients
  • Strong technical skills working with MS Office and highly preferred, data analytics software including Tableau
