We are searching for a highly motivated and talented individual for our open Programmer Analyst position supporting critical business applications for our Enterprise business applications. This Individual Contributor position will be responsible to develop, implement, and maintain technical systems and programs that enable our business to perform at the highest level. The Programmer Analyst will work closely with business analysts, senior programmer analysts, and business users to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate has an experience software development and programming. He or she will have a deep passion for implementing creative and efficient solutions using the latest technologies. The ideal candidate has the drive to face down a difficult problem and find the best solution leveraging their strong research and collaboration skills.

Essential Functions:

This position will require the candidate willing to learn and become a full stack developer on new technologies and implement. This position will be responsible for delivering complete technology solutions as part of team work which may include database, business/logic layer code, and front end UI.

  • This position reports into the Director or Manager of IT Business Applications and has no direct reports.
  • This role requires up to 10% travel internationally and domestically, including overnight stays.
  • Works with business users to develop project scope and determine requirements in line with strategic objectives
  • Researches and documents existing system workflows and makes recommendations where improvements can be made
  • Develops an understanding of how technology solutions will affect present and future business needs
  • Provides quality service by managing relationships and communication to ensure users and customers are satisfied with current applications/service; manages expectations for future work
  • Support developers and team by providing guidance and a good active team player.
  • Collaborate with project team to resolve identified issues.
  • Provide on-going application technical support and participate in application training.
  • Learn and apply project activities including task identification, effort and duration estimates, task dependencies and sequencing, critical path analysis, resource assignment and evaluation, conflict and problem resolution.
  • Keep abreast of and apply best practices in design, system development and production monitoring trends.

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or Associate's degree with 5+ years relevant experience or 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Business applications development with background in technical design and at least 4 years of software development experience or relevant experience.
  • Experience of software system related projects, products, legacy web, mobile, desktop and task automation applications
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process, finance/accounting process, and experience working on site during research, testing and implementation of various software systems and tools.
  • 3+ years of accumulated professional experience in the following areas:
  • Web development technologies: JavaScript, JQuery, ASP.net, .Net Core, Azure API, CSS, HTML, Razor, XML
  • Database development experience; Oracle/SQL Server, Azure SQL
  • User interface design
  • Integrations development and API programming using CPI and .Net
  • Integration experience with platforms like Concur, Workday, Vertex, Blackline, Banks, Kyriba, ADP and AR/AP Automation.
  • Working experience as Task Automate Desktop Server administration, SFTP/FTP and batch program management.
  • Understanding of ERP systems like IFS, QAD, Sage and S4 HANA or similar.
  • Knowledge of Agile/scrum development process, Azure Dev Ops for work management, system testing best practices, Unit testing using Nunit and methodologies and CICD pipeline process.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Excellent understanding of computer technology as it applies to business systems and software products
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels, solve personal conflicts, understand, and diagnose the causes of change resistance and initiate corrective action

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science Programming
  • Relevant project management or other professional certifications
