Job Description

This role is responsible for working closely with the technical leads and senior programmers, business units and development teams to develop and extend new system capabilities as defined within the technical and/or functional specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Technical Leads and Senior Engineers in defining, designing, building, managing and maintaining technical solutions in accordance with Endurance IT SDLC processes, standards and best practices
• Work with Technical Leads and Senior Engineers to support technical solutions / applications and supporting technologies, processes and platforms
• Participate in code reviews and validations for onshore / offshore engineers' deliverables, and ensure that proper level (as required by SDLC) of design documentation, traceability and test coverage are in place for functional and non-functional requirements and use-cases
• Triage and resolve incidents and problems for technical solutions in accordance with Endurance IT service delivery and support principles and SLAs. Knowledge of ITIL framework is preferred.
• Adhere to established enterprise SDLC and compliance methodologies, processes, governance and best-practices to ensure effective and efficient utilization of hardware, software and human resources

• Knowledge and experience with design and implementation of security standards and patterns is preferred.
• Good understanding and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, deploying and maintaining public facing, high performing and scalable enterprise web services and APIs.
• Working knowledge is preferred with SOA, WCF, Web Services (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON) and various transport and security protocols.
• Experience and familiarity with WCF bindings options, hosting platforms, behaviors and transport types.
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience is required for leveraging source control, build and deployment management tools (e.g.: TFS, Nuget, etc.).
• Experience is preferred for employing Test Driven Design.
• Experience is required in designing and building testing facilities and applications that target end-to-end testing of technical solutions / applications.
• Experience is preferred in .NET 4 / WCF capabilities
• Experience is preferred in implementing or use of web services platforms that enable mediation for integration and security requirements for web and mobile open interfaces.
• Experience in supporting life-cycle management of enterprise web services, packaged applications, and supporting technologies and platforms.
• Working experience in creating, modifying, debugging simple to moderate SSIS work flows
• Working experience in creating, modifying, debugging simple to moderate Cognos reports using Report Studio, Analysis Studio and Query Studio.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree (preferably in Comp. Science, MIS, or Software Engineering)
