About the Position

Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking a Programmer/Data Analyst in our Analytics department. This role will provide programming and data analysis support in developing and maintaining all corporate results monitoring reports and analyses. You will participate in or develop system specifications and prepare, modify or enhance computer programs for business reporting and information capture.

What We're Looking For

• B.S. in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business or Management Information Systems, or Computer Science.
• Minimum of two (2) years property and casualty insurance company or agency experience preferred.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel (including Visual Basic) and database management/manipulation.
• Experience with programming in SQL required.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other dashboard reporting tools preferred.
• Experience with data warehouse preferred.
• Someone who has strong numerical/analytical ability, problem solving skills with the ability to organize and follow through goal achievement.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to company trade secrets and proprietary information.
