Job Description
- Gathers distributes and communicates new model project requirements to internal and external members.
- Develops, negotiates, tracks, and communicates development and tooling schedules.
- Manage and support the supply of pre-production orders from the customer through forecasting, ordering, and dispositioning samples.
- Supporting the manufacturing facilities through pre-production builds and related customer visits.
- Receiving, reviewing, and distributing customer drawings.
- Coordinating design change activity with customers, manufacturing, and HQ through development and mass production.
- Submitting cost compensation claims to customers.
- Coordinating the registration of service and mass production part numbers.
- Coordinating the design, development, testing, and procurement of new model packaging.
- Submitting and obtaining development, mass production, and service part quotation approvals.
- Maintaining accurate service parts lists and forecasts.
- Supporting annual sales budget activity.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year University or College, or equivalent combination of experience, training, and education. Technical Degree preferred.
- Must have strong multitasking, project management, organization, and both written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with good time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Self-motivated team player who demonstrates initiative and flexibility.
- Prior automotive co-op or internship experience preferred.
- Must have the flexibility to travel (1 to 2 weeks per year on average).
- Must have the flexibility to support meetings beyond standard working hours.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
