Position Summary:

The Programs Coordinator plays a key role in the success of Equality Health to achieve quality performance. This individual is primarily responsible for coordination with third-party organizations aligned to assist in the care of Equality Health members designed to achieve HEDIS/STAR quality performance. This role will work closely with clinical, quality, practice, and product teams to ensure effective coordination of activities and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meetings with third party organizations to establish working relationships.
  • Coordinate communication, documentation exchange through effective contracting.
  • Organize activities to achieve effective go-live with partnership work
  • Coordinate regular meetings as well as data/metrics showing performance of third party organizations.
  • Create, prepare, and assist in the timely delivery of reports, meetings, and agenda materials, and presentations.
  • Proactively take on assignments with minimal direction and operational guidelines.
  • Maybe required to work outside regular business hours (e.g., evenings, and weekends).

Required Knowledge, Education, & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts, Social Science, Healthcare or a related field of study.
  • A minimum of Two (2) years of work experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; highly collaborative team approach to work.
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail and responsiveness are critical because of the high visibility of this team's work within the company.
  • Successful record of managing multiple projects with demonstrated ability to work independently in rapidly changing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and company confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based technologies

  • Establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with a diverse network of administrative leadership and staff.
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to convey complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, and the ability to interpret complex information from others.
