Project Accountant - Full Scope Poly Required
KBR is seeking a highly motivated Project Accountant to support our government customer's challenging operational requirements in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
An active TS/SCI with a full scope polygraph is required.
Ideal candidate is inquisitive, investigative and action-oriented with the ability to take initiative and deliver solutions to complex operational problems, while identifying new technical tools and capabilities. Successful candidate must be able to deal effectively and confidently with customer managers at all levels of responsibility. You will apply advanced knowledge and expertise of operations, operational tradecraft, and intelligence priorities when providing strategic guidance and financial management. In addition, you would be responsible for program management, from traditional operational activities to specialized initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 7+ years of relevant professional experience
- Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph at the time of application
- Familiarity with cable writing and classified databases, including specific finance tools
- Strong briefing and writing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision
- Initiative, creativity, technical excellence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter who can multi-task and remain calm under pressure with the ability to work both independently and in a group
- Prior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives
Desired Qualifications:
- Foreign field experience from at least one overseas tour or extensive overseas TDY experience
- Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
- Experience with specific processing systems and policies
- Experience using customer databases
