ROLE
Unispace Life Sciences is looking for a Project Administrator, to provide administrative support to the Project Management team specifically the Document Controller as they manage construction projects. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar capacity within the design/engineering/construction industry. This role will be based in NY and is a full-time role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Project Manager and project team.
- Taking detailed meeting minutes, copying and distributing the minutes to all relevant people
- Take ownership of designated tasks and projects as assigned.
- Support the wider process of onboarding new team members
- Attending meetings when required, diary management, scheduling meetings.
- Proof read and amend documents created by others.
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Identifying and reporting risks to Project Manager and Principal, Delivery, where relevant, whilst operating in compliance with ethical practices
- Supporting project documentation including quality control of documentation
- Program/ schedule management
- Implementing Delivery best standards/practices, processes and technology solutions within the studio to enhance the capability and effectiveness of the organization
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 2 years in a professional office environment ideally in the construction / engineering industries.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a Design, Engineering, Supplier or General Contractor organization would be preferable but not essential.
- A high proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is essential.
- Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
- An organized self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently.
- Ability to priorities work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.
