We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Project Administrator on our Membership and Marketing team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office,requiring 2 days a week in the office.

As a Project Administrator you will provideproject management skills that will help lead to the successful implementationof GME Competency Education Program (GCEP), UME Curricular Enrichment Program, andrelated Member Products projects and programs. Collaborate with cross-functional staff to createoperational efficiencies, including setting up new subscribers, handling platformmaintenance, supporting outreach and retention activities and programdevelopment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Coordinationand Management

  • Manage medium projects or programs in terms of complexity and maintain project plans, status, and metrics reporting.
  • Lead quality assurance and data validation.
  • Create detailed schedules, ensuring proper sequencing of activities and resources to meet required deadlines.
  • Coordinate assignments/milestones and execute in accordance with approved plans and requirements. Ensure deliverables are on-time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
  • Identify project risks, issues and areas for program improvement.

Relationship Management

  • Serve as liaison to cross-departmental representatives (USC, Education Center, JAMA and external agencies) to support the design, development, updates and implementation of GCEP/UCEP solutions.
  • Ensure efforts are well integrated and coordinated.
  • Manage subscriber issues and ensure inquiries are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Provide internal and external stakeholders with status updates to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Reporting andCommunication

  • Ensure that projects track toward goals. Monitor and report progress to all stakeholders, reporting analyses, status and issues with recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Develop reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
  • Foster clear and timely communication and decision-making.

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree required.
  2. Minimum of 3+ years' experience in project or program management required.
  3. Demonstrated ability to achieve project deliverables with a strong track record of high quality and on time completion, within budget, with minimal post-implementation issues.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to tailor communication style to different internal and external audiences along with various levels of stakeholders.
  5. Sound judgment in identifying issues and escalating for management attention.
  6. Affinity for online education solutions with strong understanding of development processes, cross-functional team roles and responsibilities.
  7. Experience in using data to inform platform enhancement strategies.
  8. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Self-managed and motivated. Detail oriented.
  9. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required.
  10. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus or knowledge of project plan development, managing dependencies, baseline and updates.
