This position supports the design and implementation of complex Industrial Automation and Manufacturing IT solutions using various technologies and platforms (PLCs, DCS, SCADA, IoT, MES, Data Historian, Vision Systems, etc.) for companies in the life sciences and other manufacturing industries. As a Project Administrator, you will support multiple project teams in both Automation and Manufacturing IT by managing documentation templates, review/approval of templates and executed documents, executing a standard review cycle for documentation and test execution while working with project quality to drive continuous improvement. This role operates within a multidisciplinary team that integrates technology and business expertise to deliver professional solutions.

Essential Job Functions:• Maintain company and client quality standards for documentation and test execution for multiple clients.• Applies documentation standards / templates for Manufacturing IT and Automation systems.• Adherence to GMP/GDP requirements• Ensure test documentation is written and executed in accordance with client specific validation and test plans.• Responsible for managing change control though various stages and projects.• Responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation via document management system through intake, verification, and electronic storage (including but not limited to scanning and archiving of relevant documents)• Responds to data requests from employees and customers in a timely manner.• Manages flow of documents, including creation of templates, verifying, and editing for accuracy and compliance.• Maintain error log related to document updates, test execution and storage.• Responsible for the secure destruction and disposal of sensitive documents.• Maintaining the security of confidential documents. • Assists others with accessing documents through our document management system.• Train staff on the aspects of customer/project specific quality requirements and participate in customer audits as needed.• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Information• Associate's degree in Engineering or Quality and 2 years technical experience in Automation, Manufacturing IT, or software development; or equivalent combination of education and experience.• 2 years' experience in document management, archive management, or records management.• Strong experience in document management systems (e.g. SharePoint)• Knowledge of requirements related to regulated industries (FDA, GMP, 21 CFR part 11).• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications.• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.• Excellent oral and written communication skills.• Ability to work successfully independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in related Engineering or Quality with two years technical experience in Automation, Manufacturing IT, or software development environment.• 2 years' experience in document management, archive management, or records management.

Responsibilities for Health, Safety and Environment:• Work in compliance with divisional health, safety, and environmental procedures.• Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods.• Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts. • Report defects in any equipment or protective device.• Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks.• Attend all required health, safety, and environmental training.• Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor.• Assist in investigating accidents/incidents.• Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct.

Physical Requirements:• Sitting for extended periods of time at a desk or table.• Working on computer and related peripherals 90% of the time.• Hearing and speaking to exchange information to work with team members and clients - in person, on the phone, or via virtual calls.• Seeing to read and write, exchange emails, conduct work, and prepare documents and reports.
