JOB SUMMARY:
Trane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Project Administrator II in Charlotte, NC
As a Contracting Project Administrator II, under minimal supervision, this position works closely with multiple Project Managers, and is responsible for project documentation, procurement, job costing, customer invoicing and administrative closeout of each project. Portfolio includes multiple projects at different stages of completion, and will include large, complex projects. This position is required to closely interact with customers, Project Managers, and other assigned project staff to ensure the timely completion of each project, while maintaining professionalism to foster a positive culture.
Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
• Works with manager to ensure that monthly invoicing targets are met. Ensures that all completed jobs are invoiced promptly and accurately.• Coordinates with various team members for accurate and timely recording of project costs, including materials, time sheets, labor hour allocation, daily reports, etc.• Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.• Communicates effectively with other team members.• Work closely with senior service leader, admin team lead, account managers, field service team leads, project manager and area service manager to manage the flow of jobs once they are completed in the field.• Cross train for coverage of the Resource Coordinator position when staffing needs arise.• May include management of service agreement base, invoicing, material and labor costing, and processing new and renewed service agreements.
Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED and up to two (2) years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks such as problem solving, decision making, rational thinking, and exercising good judgement.• Experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment.• Previous experience with financial systems and basic accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, an asset.• Highly competent with Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams, in addition to strong computer application and document management skills.• Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required.• Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.
Base Pay Range: $44,500-103,500 yearly
This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our location. Flexible work from home options available.
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
