Job Summary: Trane has an exciting new opportunity to join our Service team in 2300 Citygate Dr, Columbus, Ohio as a Project Administrator Team Lead.

As the Project Administrator Team Lead, you will coach, train and mentor the PA Team. You will be the administrative point of contact for the Columbus service business, and work with cross functional teams to meet business objectives, communicate administrative needs, and develop solutions to any systems/process gaps.

This role serves as a subject matter expert in the service business systems, and will initiate resolution on administrative problems. The Team Lead demonstrates proficient business and financial acumen. In some circumstances, you will help associates initiate personal development goals and establish yearly PMP goals. Viewed as a leader by the business, they will participate in the interview process and administer business standard on-boarding protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Area Service Managers in the financial management of projects by monitoring cash flow, supporting collection efforts, issuing purchase orders, supporting vendor relationships, processing billings, monitoring applied cost, providing ASMs with assistance in project forecasting, support the preparation for monthly forecasting review, and ensure compliance guidelines are followed.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by supporting company initiatives, building customer relationships, investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and supporting ASMs' communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates.
  • Support local administrative staff with contract compliance open and closed WIP invoicing details, A/R disputes, as well as improving business processes.
  • Teaming with ASM and Service Sales to improve service deliverable to our customer.

Qualifications:
  • 5 years of service industry experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in leading teams comprised of different skill / knowledge levels.
  • Ability to facilitate team meetings, recognize process / systems gaps, identify training opportunities, lead small lean projects / activities to drive a business improvements and act as a change agent.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership skills, ability to mentor other service administrative, and resource coordination roles.
  • Organizational expertise, strong verbal and written communication skills.

Base Pay Range is $85,600-$108,000. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
