WSP USA is currently initiating a search for a Project Administrator/Project Engineer with relevant industry experience to join our Florida PMCM Group based in Orlando, Florida.

Your Impact

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The selected candidate will perform a variety of assignments requiring application of standard construction engineering techniques and FDOT standards. This person will assist with CEI services and CEI oversight for the client under the direction of the CEI Senior Project Engineer and others.

• Recognizes construction problems and applies standard techniques and procedures to solve the problem

• May recommend field changes to drawings and clarify specification requirements to resolve conflicts

• Supervise field inspection staff, directing and assigning specific tasks

• Maintains daily contact with client and contractors to discuss construction activities

• Holds weekly progress meetings with the contractor

• Holds meetings with the client and/or contractor when needed to address construction issues .

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Assists with the monthly progress report (MPR) preparation

• Monitors that materials sampling and testing results are being entered in MAC

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering

• 7-10 years of engineering experience in construction of major road or bridge structures

• Valid Driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• CTQP FDOT Advanced MOT certification

• CTQP FDOT Final Estimates level 2 certification

• CTQP Quality Control Manager Certification

The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
