Position Title: Project Analyst

Location: Office in Western New York

Reports To: Director of Corporate Planning and Facilities

Department: Project Management Office

FLSA Status: Exempt

Purpose: Project Analyst assists with the coordination of various projects and strategic initiatives supporting the various departments and stakeholders at Five Star Bank. This position will serve as administrator for our facilities online reservations system and will be a key point of contact for our enterprise project portfolio management tool. The individual will work on assigned projects supporting the PMO's program and project managers and may manage small initiatives. This is an entry level project management role within Five Star's Project Management Office.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist in monitoring the pipeline of projects, supporting education on procedures, standard processes, and submissions.
2. Act as financial liaison with Accounting and FP&A to ensure project cost workbooks are updated accurately & maintained in a central location.
3. Participate in project meetings along with Program or Project Managers, developing and maintaining project reports as assigned.
4. Provide training on both online reservation system and PPM tool as necessary
5. Contribute and assist with project initiation, planning, and execution business cases to submit to PAC (Project Approval Committee).
6. Participate in budgeting process and work closely with Director of Corporate Planning and Facilities on special projects.
7. Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.

Job Related Qualifications - Education and Prior Experience:

Required:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Prior Experience: 3 years professional experience
• Licenses or Accreditation:

Required:

• Education: High School Diploma/Associate Degree
• Prior Experience: 6 years professional experience
• Licenses or Accreditation:

Preferred:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Prior Experience: 4+ years professional experience, current/previous banking experience preferred.
• Licenses or Accreditation: CAPM within one year of hire
