Global Card Issuance (GCI) manages service partners that provide card manufacturing, issuance and project support for all proprietary American Express cards globally. This role is part of the Strategy, Inventory, & Transformation team, which is responsible for supporting GCI with strategy development & implementation, improvement & optimization of processes, insightful reporting & analytics, and ensuring optimal management of supply chain & inventory.

This role will be responsible for achieving business goals, by supporting one of our workstreams: supply chain. The role will be focused on identifying, assessing, and implementing solutions that improve, transform, and optimize our processes; while also playing key role in developing strategies & roadmaps.

Job Responsibilities:• Primary responsibility is to support a workstream, by leading and driving projects, assessments, consulting, strategies, and roadmaps.• Lead projects/efforts leveraging project management best practices.• Drive projects and improvements to implementation for optimized business outcomes.• Drive development and implementation of improvements to supply chain.• Identify, assess, and develop new project opportunities.• Partner with multiple organizations including Finance, Operations, Capabilities, Technologies, Compliance, Marketing, 3rd party vendors, and others to drive results.

Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent preferred.• Strong project management experience and skills.• Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy strategies.• Results driven with the ability to effectively manage initiatives to completion.• Adept at problem solving and quantitative analysis using superior analytical skills.• Adept at developing solution options, recommendations, and proposals.• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or in teams.• Ability to communicate with in a clear, consistent manner.• Strong demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate.• Strong sense of personal accountability and demonstrated self-starter.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in Card Issuance a plus

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
