About the project:

Swadesh Darshan 2.0 Project: Swadesh Darshan 2.0 is an ambitious tourism development project by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, aimed at enhancing the infrastructure, aesthetics, and overall appeal of tourist destinations. This transformative initiative seeks to promote sustainable tourism, preserve cultural heritage, and boost the local economy. As the appointed Project Development and Management Consultant (PDMC) for the UT of Chandigarh (One Destination Chandigarh) & States of Punjab (Two Destinations i.e., Amritsar & Kapurthala) & Haryana (One Destination i.e., Panchkula), we are looking for an experienced Team Leader to play a pivotal role & lead the given projects.v

Job Description

* Development of various reports and documents
* Co-ordination between DMO, various contractors, State Implementation Agency and Ministry of Tourism
* Tracking project progress / resource deployment 
* Assisting in creating destination specific data/content for initiatives
* Coordinating scheme level events and initiatives at the destination in support if State/IA
* Any other task required to be undertaken for destination development and improvement

Qualifications

Graduation in Architecture/ Engineering / Urban Planning

• Minimum 4 years’ experience

• Experience in project planning and monitoring preferably related to urban / tourism sector

Additional Information

Working knowledge of plans, specifications and schematics associated with construction.
