Our financial team is growing! We are seeking a talented Project Controller to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our business unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects.

Hitachi Energy Cooling Systems is our business unit in Landskrona. We have a global responsibility for the development and manufacture of cooling systems for Power Electronic applications and other applications that require water cooling systems with high reliability and availability. Our cooling systems contribute to a safe and reliable operation where the customer and the environment are in focus. 

As a member of our project controlling team, you will collaborate closely with project managers to oversee financial aspects and ensure project success. This position gives you great opportunities to create a broad network internally as well as externally.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines.
• Supports the Project Managers in all financial and commercial matters. Actively supervise and support the financial performance of assigned projects, drive and seek optimization of project revenues, profitability, cashflow contributing to the financial result.
• Support the Project Managers in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews including preparation of “at completion” estimates, cost-to-complete calculations, revenues, and cash flow forecasts.
• Participate in opportunity/risk identification and monitor that all required actions are timely implemented.

• Assist and support with the monthly closing and reporting.

Your background

• To fit in this role, we see that you hold a financial degree and have several years of experience in project controlling or similar.
• You have expert skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office package, and experience in SAP is a plus.
• You have skills to consolidate large amount of data and make it understandable to management and other employees.
• You act responsibly in terms of integrity, transparency and safety.
• You are eager to solve problems, deliver results - prioritize, act and achieve goals.
• As a person you are flexible, open-minded and curious.
• Swedish language, both spoken and written, is mandatory. But since you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, you also need to be fluent in English.
