Project Coordinator

Location: Northern Virginia 

Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Summary:

Core One is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting national security projects/programs. This candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects, learn more about government contracting, and utilize their growing skillset to contribute to a mission-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are documented.
• Prepare project reports, timelines, and status updates.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and presentations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure project alignment and understanding.
• Track project progress and report any potential issues or risks to the project manager.
• Support the project team with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience supporting government programs/projects
• Proven experience in supporting project initiatives and objectives for Program/Project Managers  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Basic understanding of project coordination and management principles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in a project management role.

Preferred Qualities:

• 2+ years of experience supporting government projects.
• Strong problem-solving/solution-oriented skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
