Please note, this role requires in-studio presence therefore the successful candidate must be located in Edmonton, Alberta.

How you'll make a difference:

  • Be fully immersed in project responsibilities by reading and understanding the client contract.
  • Create projects within our financial system and ensure details are kept up to date and on time.
  • Create National Building Code Schedules of Professional Involvement when needed. Mark-up/edit as directed.
  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications, project schedules, and resourcing.
  • Maintain project file management.
  • Prepare, issue and track fee letters, project status reports and other documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation of project pursuits.
  • Ensure document quality, accuracy, and compliance with procedures.
  • Track and follow up on key action items and project milestones
  • Taking and issuing meeting minutes
  • Creating and executing client and sub-consultant agreements
  • Provide ongoing administrative support, including but not limited to:
  • Calendar coordination, email correspondence, travel booking, and expense claims.
  • Occasionally support studio events and initiatives.

Education:

  • Completion of a post-secondary program in administration is an asset.
  • A certificate or diploma in architectural technology, interior design technology, or a certified associate in project management certification is an asset.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of project coordination experience
  • Experience in construction coordination, architectural or engineering consulting, and/or project management is required.
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams
  • Adobe Acrobat and InDesign
  • Bluebeam
  • Miro
  • Ability to pick up new software and adapt as practice changes.
