Job Description Summary
The Project Coordinator is a dynamic role designed for junior staff members who will support the project team through a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This position is pivotal in maintaining project documentation, tracking progress and deliverables, and facilitating effective communication and collaboration across the project team.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and update project schedule with milestones, due dates, effort estimates, assignments
- Help identify, define and document project requirements and scope
- Facilitate regular status meetings with project stakeholders and teams. Participate in other project and program meetings as required
- Document and distribute meeting minutes, and follow-up on assigned actions and assignments
- Coordinate team members to keep workflow on track
- Manage project-related documentation by ensuring all necessary materials are current and properly stored
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of assigned project to agreed schedule, scope and budget
- Develop project plans & timelines; participate in ongoing project planning activities to include schedule development, resource allocation, issue prioritization, risk management, communication planning
- Lead timely resolution of key issues, decisions, escalations, and risks. Identify and track risks and response recommendations. Implement mitigation plans as needed
- Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path
- Remove barriers to success in a proactive and collaborative manner
- Manage relationships with variety of stakeholders to influence and negotiate timelines and deliverables. Clearly communicates any changes to situation or scope
- Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate reports including executive updates, progress and health updates, RAID items, budget
- Adheres to PMO guidelines and standard tools/templates
- Ensures that the project is smoothly handed over to the business and Operational Support following a formal gate review process
- Ensure project closure activities are completed. Facilitates and documents lessons learned
- Responsibilities may vary within the range of tasks and activities described
Qualifications:
- Working towards PM qualification
- Agile and Waterfall methodology knowledge desired
Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet and MS Office.
Skills & Personal Qualities:
- The successful candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a knack for problem-solving. You should have a passion for technology and an eagerness to learn and grow within the role. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $33.37 - $33.37
