Your Opportunity
Our Community Development team is searching for a Project Coordinator in the Pacific region. Qualified applicants in the Sacramento, Irvine, or Santa Barbara office locations will be considered.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Compile, compose, type, proofread correspondence and various other documents
- Prepare and/or assist with preparation of standard reports, contracts, and forms
- Draft and track project safety documents
- Accumulate, compile, consolidate, and edit data; check document contents for accuracy
- Create and edit spreadsheets, letters, memorandum, etc. from drafts and general instructions
- Assist with maintaining/managing client/subconsultant databases
- General liaison for team coordination and communication
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office; Adobe Acrobat, BlueBeam, Oracle, and/or various other computer program knowledge a plus.
- High level administrative, organizational, customer relations, communication, business writing skills, editing, and formatting skills.
- Extensive experience assisting management in day-to-day operations, as well as with project-related administrative tasks.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful in completing projects and meeting deadlines.
- Adaptability/flexibility to learn new things and pick-up tasks quickly.
- Strong work ethic and willing to go the extra mile.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. College degree or advanced college level courses a plus.
- At least four years of related project administrative experience, preferably with an engineering firm. Experience should demonstrate sound judgment, ability to multi-task, complete tasks in a timely manner and working effectively/comfortable under pressure.
Typical office environment working with computers at a desk for long periods of time.
