Neogen is looking for a Project Coordinator to join it's Genomics team! This position will monitor and schedule samples to be processed in order to maintain appropriate turnaround time based on customer, species, and sample type. Project coordinators will work as a team to ensure that each department has samples moving through it on a daily basis as well as work with the lab supervisors who will oversee the production teams.

  • Work shifts: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works with Lab Supervisors and/or Managers to organize and prioritize sample processing schedules for standard operation and special projects to ensure we are upholding service level turnaround time
  • Meet turnaround time that have revenue requirements
  • Cross-departmental workflow planning
  • Workflow monitoring & improvement
  • Performs routine reports on turnaround time to help find processing deficiencies.
  • Communication with operations, sales, and customer service to guarantee high quality customer experience

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in science or equivalent experience in a science related field preferred
