Project Coordinator

Description

Entry-level role; operates under the guidance of more senior level resources assisting with project management/coordination responsibilities.

• Manage small projects and project tasks
• Assist with resource planning
• Monitor project plan
• Document issues, risks and dependencies
• Communicate at the project level

1-2 years' experience working on projects

Carry out procedures to ensure that all information technology solutions and services meet company standards and user requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation of the business case
• Define and clarify project scope
• Develop and monitor the project plan
• Develop and monitor the project schedule
• Develop and monitor budget
• Monitor project progress
• Determine the organizational structure of the project team
• Identify roles and responsibilities
• Set team direction
• Coordinating activities across different organizational functions
• Motivating team members
• Assigning work and deliver results consistent with plans
• Report and communicate effectively to project team, sponsors and management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Ongoing education required in project/program management discipline required
• Effective written and verbal communications in a professional manner to management, business partners, associates, and external resources
