Job Description
Responsibilities
The Project Specialist works within Enterprise Technology to provide leadership, coordination, and reporting for large scale projects. This role will help identify and lead cross functional teams in order to execute projects related to software, hardware,processes,and systems.
- Efficiently and effectively coordinate multiple, large-scale projects simultaneously, while following standards and processes. Work with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. Align resources and see projects through to completion while keeping stakeholders notified of status.
- Work with teams across Baker Tilly to communicate and coordinate efforts as needed.
- Assist with managing vendor relationships and planning to achieve project specific goals, both in the short and long-term.
- Communicate effectively with technical resources as well as business stakeholders. Ask relevant questions to ensure that work is on track.
- Contribute to goals and expectations set for the team, including future process improvements, internal team communication, and mentorship.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience is required, 3 to 5 is preferred.
- Associates Degree preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; previous experience running projects and seeing them through to completion.
- Previous experience in a technical role in a medium-large corporate environment.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills required.
- Excellent organizational skills and note-taking ability; demonstrates strong attention to detail.
- Project Management software experience (MS Project, Planner, DevOps, SmartSheet, ClickUp, etc.)
