 General Summary:

The Project Coordinator plans and coordinates project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks. Supports the project staff by facilitating project logistics such as meetings, conference rooms, conference calls, etc. Takes meeting minutes and action items during meetings and performs basic follow-up. Assists in development of presentations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist project manager with meeting facilitation and scheduling, follows up on action items 
  • Assist project manager with administrative tasks and help ensure the teams are performing/reporting their status on said tasks 
  • Assist project manager with project documentation and status reporting 
  • Be a strong team player that will build positive and collaborative relationships

  • Familiarity with project management methods (SDLC, PMI, ITIL, Agile, Waterfall, etc.) required 
  • Proficient with Microsoft operating system and Microsoft Office products required 
  • Working knowledge in SharePoint, proficient with navigation and basic documenting functions 
  • Strong understanding of Change Management 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Knowledge of business requirement gathering processes and use cases 
  • Strong understanding of the English language, both verbal and written 
  • Strong people and documentation skills 
  • Strong analytical, people and documentation skills 
  • Organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to multitask and adjust to shifting priorities 
  • Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts desired 
  • Experience in a large and/or public company desired 

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • 2-4 Years in related area 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related area desired

Working Conditions:

  • Professional office environment 
  • 10% travel may be required
