Project Coordinator

Job Description

• Work with project team to create and update project schedules
• Communicate schedule changes to shop floor
• Participate in DVM (Daily Visual Management), Design Reviews, and Turn over meetings
• Update labor and materials forecasting
• Work with Project Management and Finance Team on invoicing forecast
• Support Project Management with FAT requirement and check list
• Participate and ensure BSRA implementation
• Assist in PLANVIEW implementation
• Follow-up with Supply Chain to confirm materials are received on time to meet build schedule
• Assist project team with closing open issues
• Co-ordinating, facilitating and driving project scoping, planning, execution, and close out
• Co-ordinate the clarification of design and specification requirements and arrange for necessary changes
• Arrange and lead meetings to coordinate the requirements

Additional Information

• Responsible for communicating schedule update and progress on design tasks to project team
• Review and maintain awareness of all corporate and local procedures pertinent to engineering, quality assurance and project management. Maintain process compliance during project execution and advise supervisor if compliance cannot be achieved.
• Lead a multi-disciplined project team to execute projects on schedule, within budget, delivering the contracted scope of work to all applicable codes and standards.
• Manage project risks through assessment, identification, and mitigation.
• Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of Management.
• Assists with continuous systems design improvements as required.
