Job Summary:

Supermicro is currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our solution team. The candidate is responsible to support the product management team on both pre and post-technical sales activities in the existing and upcoming OEM projects. In this role, you will partner closely with product managers on sample builds, processing forms, and customer engagement supports to ensure operations readiness.

This position will be based in our headquarters located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Manage and take ownership in status reports, follow up on progress to ensure high level workflow• Work cross-department to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues• Collaborate closely with sales, engineer and operation teams to understand business requirements and work with them to deliver the products and services• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers• Build engineering samples and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the robustness of the prototype for showcase purpose• Create part numbers, structure, read and interpret complex Bill of Materials (BOM's)• Manage and keep track of materials schedule, deliverable, logistics and shipment• Consult with clients about their specific needs prior to developing or starting a project• Develop solutions for specific customer needs or participate in project planning for specific products• Produce reports as necessary

Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering discipline is strongly desirable• Minimum 2 years of experience in either system server products or sales/marketing environment is preferred• Able to work positively under deadlines and constraints, result-oriented and attentive to detail• Consistently meeting/exceeding assigned jobs/goals in timely manner• Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines and cultures; demonstrated communication skills-written, verbal presentation• Experience tracking and reporting data on lead activity

Salary Range

$20.00 - $28.00 / hour

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
