The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator for our National Marketing & Communications Operations.

This is a one year temporary position that commences at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support to the SVP of Brand Marketing and SVP of Digital Marketing and Content in the National Marketing and Communications department, as well as department projects as needed• Coordinate meetings and projects both virtually and in person to advance project goals and objectives.• Prepare and manage department budgets including reporting, reconciliations, projections and allocations in collaboration with project leads and cross-functional team members.• Manage contracting via Procurement systems and processes; meet deadlines and following all compliance requirements• Manage processing of invoices and other administrative tasks in a timely fashion to meet all contractual and financial obligations with vendors.• Manage cross functional marketing projects and keep teams on task and on deadline to achieve goals

• Leverage Association workflow and digital asset management system to process intake requests, collaboration updates and organization of assets across the teams. • Provide analytics and optimization recommendations for relevant projects

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of experience in project coordination
• Two (2) years of basic accounting process experience
• Demonstrated ability to prepare written and presentation communications
• Demonstrated customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in event or meeting planning
• Some college or BA in Communications, Business, Marketing or related area
