Job Overview

The Project Coordinator - Recommended Parts Lists (RPL) will join our Aftermarket Demand Planning Team and be based at our Newly Constructed Headquarters location in Milwaukee, WI. This Role will work under the direction of our Global Demand Manager to manage the Recommended Parts Lists (RPL) Process for Komatsu Surface Mining Equipment. The Project Coordinator - RPL will work closely with our parts planning, engineering and commercial teams to support new machine sales.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Own and execute Komatsu's Surface Mining Recommended Parts List (RPL) strategy and process
  • Create and communicate Mining Machine Recommended Parts Lists (RPL) to Komatsu Affiliates, regions, dealers and internal business partners as appropriate
  • Advance Komatsu's Surface Mining Recommended Parts List (RPL) strategy beyond current methods and approaches (process, tools, training, messaging, next steps etc.)
  • Support Commercial Management, Product Management and Customer Solutions with Recommended Parts List (RPL) tender needs/requests
  • Stay connected to internal departments and attend appropriate cross functional meetings to stay up to date with potential impacts to Recommended Parts Lists (RPL)
  • Maintain KPIs and metrics on the efficacy of Recommended Parts Lists (RPL) executed globally
  • Keep Recommended Parts List (RPL) dashboards and feedback in salesforce.com


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of general business experience (preference towards related/relevant prior experience)
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work across department lines to influence and build consensus
  • Prioritization skills are necessary as multiple demands will be placed on this Role simultaneously. Detail-orientation along with strong organizational abilities are needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Prior Experience with SAP, salesforce.com, LinkOne, and/or Power BI is desirable
  • Comfort level interacting with global distributors, affiliates, and regions as well as customers of different cultures. Occasional International Travel may be required
  • An Understanding of mining, construction or other heavy equipment industries is a plus
