Job Title:Project Director Tenure:Full-Time, Permanent Salary:$150,000–$160,000 annually Location:New York, NY Job Overview Are you interested in a career where you can make a meaningful impact on everyday experiences? We’re seeking aProject Directorto lead diverse and exciting projects in experiential design. This role will focus on delivering high-quality outcomes, mentoring talent, and contributing to the strategic growth of the studio. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Oversight • Provide strategic oversight to ensure quality, consistency, and success across all projects. • Supervise scope, budget, and scheduling to meet or exceed financial and performance targets. • Guide and support Project Managers and Senior PMs in all project dimensions. • Lead internal project and team meetings to maintain alignment and smooth execution. • Take strategic leadership of complex, high-impact mega projects. Studio Development & Mentorship • Participate in staff performance reviews and lead professional development initiatives. • Build and manage high-performing, diverse teams while fostering an inclusive culture. • Provide clear direction and mentorship to support team success and growth. Business Development & Client Relations • Develop and strengthen client relationships to generate new opportunities and secure impactful projects. • Collaborate with the Business Development team on proposal writing and pricing strategies. • Represent the studio at industry events to expand market presence. Financial & Operational Management • Partner with Finance to manage monthly billing and resolve accounts receivable issues. • Maintain accurate project revenue forecasts and contribute to financial health. • Continuously improve workflows and operational procedures for efficiency and quality. Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in project management or directorship within design, architecture, industrial design, product development, or related fields. • Skilled in representing corporate and project interests with clients, suppliers, and partners. • Proactive, self-driven, and eager to learn new systems and products. • Able to interpret and synthesize detailed technical documentation. • Strong prioritization and task execution skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Flexible and open to domestic/international travel as needed. • Proficient in tools for project documentation, design, and communication. • Strong communicator who approaches conflict with a solution-focused mindset. • Committed to professionalism, respect, empathy, and continuous learning Job Type: Full-time Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
