Olea's Project Engineers are responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. To achieve this, our Project Engineers coordinate with a team of engineers, manufacturing personnel, and other departments to ensure the success of every project.

The essential duties and responsibilities of a Project Engineer at Olea include:

  • Lead and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure projects stay on track
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure project success
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as necessary
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management, on a regular basis
  • Ensure compliance with project management processes, tools, and standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members

This is a full-time, on-site position in Cerritos, CA. Starting pay for this role is $95,000 to $110,000 per year.

Requirements

To be considered for the position, candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • At least five years' experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Experience in sheet metal manufacturing a plus
  • Disciplined and organized with the proven ability to manage multiple projects and/or deadlines
  • Ability to think proactively and solve problems, limiting impact to production and delivery schedules
  • Collaborative and team-oriented player who thrives in a fun and fast paced environment
  • Growth mindset with a passion to learn and reach your full potential
