WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE:

  • Designing, developing, and improving electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing plants.

  • Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Ensuring that electrical installations meet safety and regulatory standards, such as OSHA and NEC.

  • Conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments of electrical equipment and installations

  • Leading electrical projects, including upgrades, new equipment installations, and automation initiatives.

  • Identifying areas for electrical system optimization to improve plant efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and lower costs.

  • Ensuring all electrical systems comply with relevant local, state, and federal codes and regulations

  • Maintaining detailed records of electrical systems, including schematics, manuals, and inspection reports.

  • Collaborating with vendors and contractors for equipment procurement and installations.

  • Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the company's operations.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing electrical control systems, PLC programming, and automation.

  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, OSHA).

  • Experience with high-voltage systems, motor controls, and power distribution

  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of leading successful electrical projects

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
